                                        Ada is a structured, statically typed, imperative, wide-spectrum, and object-oriented high-level computer programming language. It has built-in language support for explicit concurrency, offering tasks, synchronous message passing, protected objects, and non-determinism. Examples of systems where Ada is used include avionics, railways, banking, military and space technology.

  1. For learning Ada you would much better refer to http://www.adaic.org/learn/ instead of to the very old "Tutorials" page on AdaHome (a site which hasn't been maintained nor updated in over a decade!).
